Isidora Stojanovic

CNRS Researcher, Institut Jean-Nicod, Paris

I work in philosophy of language and in semantics. My background is in philosophy (PhD, Stanford University) and in Cognitive Science (PhD, Ecole Polytechnique). My topics of research include context-dependence, indexicality, evaluative language, the semantics/pragmatics interface, and the relationship between logic and grammar. I have been working as a CNRS researcher at the Jean Nicod Institute since 2004. From October 2012 to September 2014, I was a Marie Curie Fellow at the University Pompeu Fabra, Dept. de Traducció i Ciències del Llenguatge, conducting a project on Lexical Meaning and Logical Inference, where I continue to be an external member of GLiF (the Formal Linguistics Group).
