Jordina Sánchez defends her thesis on sign language and written language in bilingual schools.

On the 18th of December 2015, Jordina Sánchez Amat successfully defended her PhD thesis at the Faculty of Science Education at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona. The title of the thesis was “Sign language and written language in bilingual education and the intervention on deaf students”. Jordina worked on her thesis starting from the fieldwork she did at the school Tres Pins (in Barcelona), where there are deaf and hearing pupils and sign and oral written language are used. The thesis has been supervised by Enric Roca (UAB) and Josep Quer (UPF-ICREA).
