MOOC, a pioneering introductory course to LSC: registration is open!

The MOOC course (massive, open and on-line course) “Introduction to Catalan Sign Language: Speaking with your hands and hearing with your eyes” will start on the 4th of April and will last six weeks. It requires an average work load of four hours per week. It will take place on the platform FutureLearn Learn.

The team of teachers and researchers is formed by deaf and hearing experts, who are responsible for the creation of the course and for the mentoring. The team is composed by Josep Quer,  Delfina Aliaga, Gemma Barberà, Cristina Gelpí, and Santiago Frigola, and also by Sara Cañas and Alexandra Navarrete as mentors. They are part of the LSC Lab and members of the Department of Translation and Language Sciences.
