I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra since 2016 under the Horizon 2020 project "SIGN-HUB: preserving, researching and fostering the linguistic, historical and cultural heritage of European Deaf signing communities with an integral resource".

The SIGN-HUB project aims to create a digital platform that will provide content related to the grammars of sign languages, an atlas of world sign languages, sign language assessment tools and an archive of life narratives by elderly signers. I participate in both the project management (I collaborate with the SIGN-HUB coordinator, Dr. Josep Quer) and also in research, mainly in the sign language assessment domain.

I hold a master’s degree in Intervention and research in language pathologies from the UAB, and I graduated in two degrees, Biology and Social and Cultural Anthropology, at the Universitat de Barcelona.

In 2015 I defended the dissertation "Sign Language and Written Language in the Sign Bilingual Education and in the Intervention with Deaf Children". The results highlighted the need to promote bilingual education and the knowledge and dissemination of Catalan Sign Language in the field of intervention with deaf children.
