Raquel Veiga

For the past ten years I have been working as a sign language interpreter in Galiza and I am currently pursuing a doctoral program in Translation and Language Sciences at UPF and I am part of the LSC Lab research group. My PhD thesis focuses on the description and linguistic analysis of the pronominal system of LSC. Among other aspects, I am interested in researching the role of modality in the expression of reference and in the number of grammatical distinctions available in the system.
