Short Term Scientific Missions

Short-term scientific missions are travel grants aimed at supporting the research plan of COST IS1006 and to network scientists into the European scientific community. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis, and are reviewed by the COST SignGram STSM Assessment panel. STSMs are aimed at strengthening the existing networks by allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another COST Country to foster collaboration, to learn a new technique or to take measurements using instruments and/or methods not available in their own institution/laboratory. They are particularly intended for young scientists.
